GRD has its full fledged Corporate Resource Centre which facilitates best career prospects to the engineering. The prime objective of the CRC is to maintain strong industry Institute linkages and strive for the overall development & grooming of the students according to the Industry requirements by conducting qualitative interventions in sync with the identified industry manpower needs, Symposia, Seminars and conferences both at National and International level. CRC has maintained a sound rapport with large number of good companies, industrial conglomerates and reputed business houses. Corporate connect plays an active role in inviting senior professionals from the industries for seminars, guest lectures, symposiums and also offers multiple networking opportunity through company presentations, off campus networking events, career fairs & industry/plant visits. Corporate Resource Centre plans career guidance, counseling and training programs with the help of industry and academic professionals to effectively groom and counsel students towards a bright career.

Training and Placement Cell

Training and Placement Cell holds responsibility towards the student’s future. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the department.

Training activities are organized throughout the year for preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programs. This department keeps on inviting various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. 

Training and Placement Activities:

  • Periodic Conduction of IQ tests viz TCSion, Mentorial Exam, AMCAT, etc
  • Arrangement of Personality Development Workshops /Classes.
  • Trains students for aptitude tests, interview techniques, group discussions
  • Notification regarding various competitive examinations.
  • Organizes industrial visits.
  • Bridging the gap between Industry and Academia by continuous interaction with industry.
  • Industrial Exposure to the students through Guest Lectures.
  • Soft Skill Development Programme

In House Training

The in house training program would help the students inacquiring various skills required to lead a contended and successful life. A person can be successful only if he knows the problem solving techniques at work place, working collaboratively with others, communicate effectively andrationale thinking. The institutes invite faculty members from institutions of higher learning and industry for providing quality education within house campus training program for ensuring its effectiveness. Nevertheless, at the end of the program, feedback must be taken and analyzed so that the short comings can be erased and necessary changes can be brought about.

Motivates students to go for higher studies and guiding them to take competitive exams such as CAT, GATE, TOEFL, GRE, GMAT AND IELTS.

Summer Internship Programs/Industrial Trainings

The main purpose of the internships, which make up a significant part of our program, is to prepare our students for the work life when they graduate.

Our students have to complete two internships; the first one is the summer internship, which should be done in the summer after the second year of education. the second one is the winter internship.

Some of our students receive offers to continue as part-time employees after finishing their internships, because of their impressive performance during the internship. As a result, almost half of our students secure employment even before graduation.

During their summer/winter internship and industry training, GRD students work at reputable institutions and they:

  • Get to know the IT industry as an insider
  • Gain real life work experience before graduation
  • Observe new trends in their fields
