Mass Communication is a profession of creativity, where an individual can nurture their own thinking process and project them with their own creativity – “Creativity is an ability to think out of the box and create new ways to solve problems”.

Information is transmitted and exchanged through mass media in the process of mass communication. Broadcasting media, including TV and radio, as well as modern media, such as advertisements and digital media, make up the dynamic sector of this course. It can be broadly understood to refer to the process of extensive information circulation within contexts and globally. It will allow students to develop a thorough understanding of the professions involved, helping them broaden their career options .

GRD Institute of Media & Mass Communication will set global standards for media education, research, extension, and training, using state-of-the-art technology for building a knowledge-driven information society, contributing to human development, empowerment, and participatory democracy, anchored in pluralism, universal values, and ethics.

  • The candidate must have completed senior secondary / 10+2 standard from a recognized board .
  • The candidate must have a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% at the 10+2 level .

  1. Electronic labs – electronic labs activities range in the field of electronic media, mainly radio and TV broadcasting including all the associated audiovisual technologies.
  2. Practical labs – photographic labs is a technical facility serves professional photographers, designers and amateur for the production of high-quality photographic images.
  3. Editing labs – Editing labs is done to select, prepare, writer and publish in the print media to disseminate information on target readers.
