  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.

  • Minimum education: 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.

  • Student shall be medically fit.

  • Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.

  • BSc Nursing Admission 2024 is based on the NEET UG exam for most of the central and state universities followed by a counseling round

Fee structure

BSc Nursing Job opportunities include community health nurse, registered nurse, nursing superintendent, military nurse, and more. Nurses can expect to earn INR 2.5 – 3 lakhs as fresher, and INR 5 – 6 lakhs per annum for over 5 years of experience.

  • BSc Nursing students can get opportunities in hospitals and nursing homes.
  • India has 1.7 nurses per 1000 persons which falls short of 3 nurses per 1000 persons mandated by WHO. India needs to add 4.3 Million nurses by 2024.
  • According to Payscale, a Registered Nurse in India earns an average annual salary of INR 3,00,000 LPA as a fresher. The salary may touch INR 10,00,000 in 4-5 years time.
  • Candidates can also pursue higher studies in MSc Nursing and can also choose a specialization of their interests.
  • Students can also join a postgraduate program in Public Health management if they do not wish to do a Master’s degree.
