Merit-Based Scholarship
- 90% & above – 40% Tuition Fee Waiver
- 80% – 89.9% – 30% Tuition Fee Waiver
- 70% – 79.9% – 20% Tuition Fee Waiver
- 60% – 69.9% – 10% Tuition Fee Waiver
Uttarakhand State Domicile Scholarship
A 10% tuition fee waiver is available for students with a valid Uttarakhand domicile certificate. Additionally, 40% of seats in all programs at GRD-IMT/GRD-PG Dehradun are reserved for Uttarakhand domicile students.
Scholarship for Students from Hill States
Students belonging to the following Hill States are eligible for a 10% tuition fee waiver:
Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and Nepal.
To avail of this scholarship, students must present their original domicile certificate at the time of admission.
GRD-IMT Scholarship for Girls
A 5% tuition fee waiver is offered to female students for the first year of Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs. This scholarship applies uniformly across India.
Additional Scholarships
- GRD Alumni Students – Additional 10% tuition fee waiver.
- Children of Defence Personnel – Additional 5% tuition fee waiver.
Scholarship Renewal Criteria
A 5% tuition fee waiver is offered to female students for the first year of Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate programs. This scholarship applies uniformly across India.
- Maintain a minimum attendance of 75%.
- Secure at least 60% marks in academics.
Government Scholarship Assistance
Students who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for government scholarships to support their education. GRD-IMT facilitates this process by providing necessary guidance and official documents required for the application.
