Open Mic Competition Organized by Department of Journalism & Mass Communication at GRD IMT Dehradun
At GRD IMT Dehradun, creativity meets confidence through events that inspire expression and talent. The Department of Journalism & Mass Communication proudly organized the Open Mic Competition, bringing together passionate performers, storytellers, poets, singers, and speakers under one stage.
With the theme “When Passion Speaks, The Audience Listens”, the event celebrated originality, communication skills, and artistic expression among students. Participants showcased their talent through poetry, music, stand-up performances, public speaking, and creative storytelling, creating an energetic and engaging atmosphere for everyone present.
The competition encouraged students to step beyond classrooms, build confidence, and connect with audiences through the power of words and performance. Faculty members and students actively participated, making the event a memorable celebration of creativity and communication.
