Computer Science & Engineering (B. Tech) program is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to VMSB Uttarakhand Technological University, Dehradun.

The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering involves research, designing, developing and a range of allied subjects which are included in the curriculum to train students for diverse roles especially in IT sector. The department was established in the year 2008. The faculty members are skilful and well qualified in this stream. Various seminars, projects and presentations are been conducted. It is one of the best career prospects where the Electronics & Communication engineering graduates can build a successful career.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate must mandatorily pass 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry/ ComputerScience/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three).
  • 45% (general category) & 40% (reserved category) is required in the above subjects together.
  • Those candidates with Diploma, must clear with 45% (open category) & 40% (reserved category) subject to vacancies in the first year, if the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Procedure

85% of seats (50% Uttarakhand + 35% All India) will be occupied through counselling by UTU. The rest 15% management seats are allotted directly by the institute’s management based on counselling on the basis of IIT-JEE Rank.
