Computer Science & Engineering (B. Tech) programme is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to VMSB Uttarakhand Technological University, Dehradun.

Electrical & Electronic Engineering department is an integrated branch of engineering, ranging from all aspects of information processing, power distribution and power production. The curriculum is designed as such to give in depth knowledge about electrics and power to all the aspiring candidates such that, they have a strong career ahead in the field of electrical and electronics engineering.

Duration & Eligibility

  • Passed Minimum 3 years / 2 years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.
  • The candidate is required pass B. Sc from a UGC recognised university with at least 45% (general category) & 40% (reserved category) and passed 10 + 2 examination with mathematics.
  • The candidate is required to pass D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

Admission Procedure

85% of seats (50% Uttarakhand + 35% All India) will be occupied through counselling by UTU. The rest 15% management seats are allotted directly by the institute’s management based on counselling on the basis of IIT-JEE Rank.

The curriculum involves detailed practical training and offers various project-based training as well as internship programs.
